may well be the toughest gardening month. So just as well it's a
short one. Gardeners don't know what kind of weather to expect from
one day to the next. February is for planning and for seeing the
first signs of spring. Prune your winter flowering shrubs that have
finished flowering. Cut back deciduous grasses that were left uncut
over the winter. It is an ideal month for pruning both trees and
